International Webinar on Multi-dimensional Aspects of Auditing Blue Economy in July 2023

International Centre for Environment Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED) is organizing an International Webinar on “Multi-dimensional Aspects of Auditing Blue Economy” in July 2023. This event is held virtually in two batches with different timings on 13^th of July and 14^th of July to enable wider participation from SAIs across the different time zones.

The objective of the webinar is to augment skill sets of the participants from different Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) on auditing sectors of the Blue Economy as the SAIs have an important role to play in the global efforts towards achieving UN SDG-14, (Life Below Water). The webinar provides an overview of multidimensional aspects of Blue Economy along with focus on auditing marine and coastal sectors, such as fishing, shipping, tourism, offshore energy generation, conservation of mangroves and marine biodiversity.

The webinar is currently open for SAIs to send their nominations (up to 5 persons) using this Nomination form to iCED at: iced@cag.gov.in by 3rd of July 2023.
