COP30 brought together global stakeholders to accelerate climate action, and SAIs play a key role in ensuring accountability and resilience.
The INTOSAI WGEA, with the support of SAI Brazil, participated in the COP30 Climate Conference. This year, our emphasis was on climate adaptation and the newly published CCAA cooperative audit, developed in collaboration with IDI and INTOSAI WGEA.

Work on climate action continues in 2026-2028
Stay tuned! The INTOSAI WGEA work on climate action will continue also in 2026-2028 under the leadership of the new Chair, SAI Thailand.
The INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA) aims to increase the expertise in environmental auditing and to enhance environmental governance with high-quality contribution and visibility by both members of the Working Group and non–member SAIs. Currently the INTOSAI WGEA consists of 86 member countries.
